How do you prefer to work?
This is the question we asked you in the last issue of Insider. Here's how you responded:
Perhaps unsurprisingly, it seems that there’s a variation in the different ways that people like to work. In particular, we can see that plenty of people chose the ‘sometimes’ option, indicating that they like to have the choice to work in different ways and in different environments.
However, there are definitely some noticeable trends we can identify. Firstly, the majority of us clearly prefer working at a desk and a preference for working in a quiet environment, but in tandem, people were also keen to have face-to-face meetings.
All of this seems to chime with the current trend for flexible working and flexible workspaces. Variety is the spice of life, after all.
Thank you to everyone who took part in this survey. It’s important for us to know how we can create environments that allow everyone to work at their best. Be it quiet or lively, or a mix of both, we all need to recognise the different ways our colleagues like to operate.
How are you using flexitime?
We launched Flexitime across all of our UK offices in September, so we want to get an insight into the different ways our people are using this new policy. Again, this survey will only take a moment and we'll publish the results in the next issue of Insider.
